An addition designed by Messis studio, the Mosmo Living team was engaged to help bring the client’s vision of their interior materiality to life and build this home. With a clear vision and no strangers to the build process, the industrial and high-contrast design aesthetic was built around the feature stone to the kitchen island bench.
A key challenge throughout the design process was balancing the client’s industrial aesthetic while keeping resale in mind. Conscious that the client was not designing or building their forever home, mass appeal and longevity of materials became our principal considerations.
Burnished concrete, porcelain benchtops, finger proof black cabinet panels and crisp white paint balance the aesthetic while providing a lastability that supersedes fashion, creating a luxurious space and ensuring value for the client.
The clients, having built prior, were pleasantly surprised by the high quality, meticulous efficiency, and keen design eye as we delivered a high-quality build on budget.
